Voies Vertes des gaves - cycle paths

At Pierrefitte-Nestalas is the starting point for 2 Voies Vertes cycle paths. 
  
The first is 17 kms long (minimal altitude of 440 meters with a difference in height of approximately 26 meters) taking you to Lourdes traversing the Vallée des Gaves and passing Adast, Lau-Balagnas, Argelès-Gazost, Ayzac-Ost and Agos-Vidalos. It is accessible to walkers, cyclists and people with reduced mobility. 
 
The second is 9,20 kms long (minimal altitude of 465 meters and maximum 950 meters) also called « le chemin des voyageurs  » (the travellers’ path) it takes you to Cauterets through the gorges traversing a lit tunnel and the Meyabat bridge. Pedestrians have priority and mountain bikes are allowed. 
 
Alone, with friends or family, enjoy the Voies Vertes des Gaves : mountain bike enthusiasts can pedal on the Voie Verte Pierrefitte-Cauterets whereas the Voie Verte Pierrefitte-Lourdes is ideal for cyclists, roller skaters and people with reduced mobility.
